WHY THE WORD ‘SWEAR’ NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM THE CONSTITUTION, ASAP…

Article 2, Section 1, of the U.S. Constitution prescribes the oath of office.

From Senate.gov website:(https://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/history/common/briefing/Oath_Office.htm)…”The Constitution contains an oath of office only for the president. For other officials, including members of Congress, that document specifies only that they “shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation to support this constitution.” In 1789, the First Congress reworked this requirement into a simple fourteen-word oath: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States.””

George Washington was the first President to take his oath of office by swearing on the bible. Since then, each President has done the same. It’s become a respected tradition. It has also become a tradition that all elected officials to swear (or affirm) before they take office, and for citizens to do the same before they testify in court.

There is only one problem with that…

Yahuah has VERY CLEARLY FORBIDDEN taking oaths! He FORBIDS swearing.

Matthew 5:34-37

34 But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is Yah’s throne; 35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. 37 But let [a]your โ€˜Yesโ€™ be โ€˜Yes,โ€™ and your โ€˜No,โ€™ โ€˜No.โ€™ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.

James 5:12

12 But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your โ€œYesโ€ be โ€œYes,โ€ and your โ€œNo,โ€ โ€œNo,โ€ lest you fall into [a]judgment.

You can’t get more clear than that!

So, why do people who claim to believe in Yah feel it is okay to swear or take an oath when Yahuah said DO NOT DO IT?

Why do people feel it is okay to swear or take an oath with their hand on the same bible that forbids it?

The Constitution is an important document, and I have high respect for it, but it is by no means a perfect document. That’s why it’s a living document and needs to be changed as we learn and grow. Unfortunately, many Americans are more passionate about following the Constitution to the letter even more than they are about following the bible to the letter.

The ‘founding fathers’ were great men, but they were far from perfect. They were ordained by Yahuah (Romans 13), but they were not Elohim. Many of them who signed the Constitution also signed bills of sale for slaves with the same hand.

I’m quite certain that someone will take the previous two paragraphs out of context because what I just said offended them. If it offends you, examine yourself and what spirit is provoking you to be offended. Yahusha the Messiah also offended the religious leaders when He came to warn them about how their traditions need to change…

Matthew 15:1-9

15 Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Yahusha, saying, โ€œWhy do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.โ€

He answered and said to them, โ€œWhy do you also transgress the commandment of Yahuah because of your tradition? For Yah commanded, saying, โ€˜Honor your father and your motherโ€™; and, โ€˜He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.โ€™ But you say, โ€˜Whoever says to his father or mother, โ€œWhatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to Elohimโ€โ€” then he need not honor his father [a]or mother.โ€™ Thus you have made the [b]commandment of Yah of no effect by your tradition. Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:

8 โ€˜These people [c]draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.โ€™ โ€

Notice what Yeshua said about oaths when He rebuked the Scribes and Pharisees in Matthew Chapter 23…

Matthew 23:16-17  (NKJV)

16 โ€œWoe to you, blind guides, who say, โ€˜Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.โ€™ 17 Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that [a]sanctifies the gold?

He called them fools. It makes no sense to swear on the bible. Which is greater, the cover of the bible carry more weight than the words you are speaking? Which is greater, the Bible or the words in it that make it holy? Besides, someone who doesn’t believe in Yahuah or take His word serious enough has no problem with putting their hands on the bible and telling a lie.

If we really love Yah, then we want to do what He said without trying to justify otherwise because we want to place our will over his…

John 14:15

15 โ€œIf you love Me, [a]keep My commandments.

One of the problem with many Christians is they prove by their actions that they feel the only sins that Yahuah is concerned with are homosexuality, abortion and gambling.

However, Yahusha the Messiah has made it clear that we are to NEVER SWEAR.

I do feel it is okay to make an ‘affirmation’. I feel it is okay to say, “I affirm to support the Constitution or I affirm to tell the truth” in court. But NEVER on a bible.

But, any elected official who proclaims an ‘oath of office’ or is ‘sworn in’ begins their term with a sin.

And, anyone who swears not to tell a lie in court promises not to commit one sin by committing another one.

As we work to make the Constitution an even better document by including amendments that secure the rights of everyone, don’t you think we should change it in a way to please the God of our salvation first? And do it ASAP.

THE UNHOLINESS OF HAZING: TRADITIONS FROM HELL…

wp-1486060420485.jpg

If Yahuah makes it so easy to join His organization (Romans 10:9), why do we make it so hard to join some of ours?

I was watching a television show in which a young lady hoping to join a prestigious college band was beaten into intensive care during her initiation, and it was swept under the rug and defended by those in authority to protect their tradition.

I’ve heard many comment and reason that such behavior is just ‘part of the process’…that some initiations and inductions are just ‘part of growing up’.

I’ve heard that enduring this foolishness with others breeds loyalty, brotherhood/sisterhood, comradery, etc.

Some of these organizations claim to be ‘Christian’ organizations.

Now, I’m sure some of you reading will defend it out of loyalty to your own beloved organizations and traditions, but if you’re a believer…if you know Yahuah word…if you know the character and culture of His Kingdom…and if you’re honest with yourself, you know it’s not of Yahuah and makes no sense. You know that some of the activities people are forced to participate in are clearly not of Yah.

If it’s not of Yah, then it’s of the devil…

If it’s of the devil, then it’s straight from Hell.

How do I know it’s not of Yahuah?

Because God made joining His organization EASY for us!

It’s interesting how so many organizations, teams, clubs etc. make it so DIFFICULT to join…initiations, rituals, rites of passage, hazing, traditions…while, Yahuah makes it so EASY!

Romans 10:9 (NKJV)

9 that if you confess with your mouth Yahusha HaMashiach and believe in your heart that Yahuah has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

The Body of HaMashiach is the most important and prestigious ‘organization’ of this earth and beyond.

The benefits of membership are eternal…

Yet, Yahuah makes it so easy to become part of His family.

But,

So many earthly organizations feel it’s such an honor to be inducted into their ranks that some have even died trying to get in. When you think about it…it’s quite absurd that people have shed blood to join some groups but…

Yahusha paid the price of our admission to His church with His blood…

 Isaiah 53:5

But He was wounded for our transgressions,He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

One of Yahusha’s greatest battles was against foolish, senseless tradition (Matthew 15:1-20).

Matthew 15:1-20

Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Yahusha, saying, โ€œWhy do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.โ€

He answered and said to them, โ€œWhy do you also transgress the commandment of Yahuah because of your tradition? For Yah commanded, saying, โ€˜Honor your father and your motherโ€™; [a] and, โ€˜He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.โ€™[b] But you say, โ€˜Whoever says to his father or mother, โ€œWhatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to Yahuahโ€โ€” then he need not honor his father or mother.โ€™[c] Thus you have made the commandment[d] of Yah of no effect by your tradition. Hypocrites! Well did Yeshayahu prophesy about you, saying:

โ€˜These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And[e] honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.โ€™ โ€[f]

10 When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, โ€œHear and understand: 11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.โ€

12 Then His disciples came and said to Him, โ€œDo You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?โ€

13 But He answered and said, โ€œEvery plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. 14 Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.โ€

15 Then Peter answered and said to Him, โ€œExplain this parable to us.โ€

16 So Yahusha said, โ€œAre you also still without understanding? 17 Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. 20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.โ€

No organization on earth supersedes Yahuah’s and should never be no more difficult to become a part of than His assembly.

Even though some have even perverted and complicated โ€˜membershipโ€™ in His assembly, that was never His intention.

When any organization makes potential members submit themselves to violence, vulgar and profane language, embarrassment and possible harm as conditions of joiningโ€ฆthose activities are not of Yahuah.

Don’t get caught up trying to hold onto, defend and condone traditions from Hell.

4 WAYS TO TELL IF A CULTURE OR TRADITION HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED OR INFLUENCED BY DEMONS…

If you believe in Yahuah and angelic influence in our lives, then you have to believe in the Ha Satans and demonic (fallen angels) influence in our lives as well.

The bible not only gives examples of the devil influencing our behavior…

Luke 22:3-4

Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve. So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them.

But, it also makes it clear that even some doctrines taught in the church have demonic origins…

1 Timothy 4:1

Now the Spirit [a]expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

It’s unfortunate that from race, to religion, to fraternal organizations, to business, to ‘heritage’, to family…too many cultures and traditions have either intentionally or unintentionally been established and endured due to demonic influence.

If it contradicts the word of Yahuah, then it’s not of Yah.

Yahuah has given us clear insight in how to tell if there’s been demonic influence in culture or tradition, but too many times we ignore, justify or excuse it because we’re too committed to our traditions etc.,

Mark 7:7-9

in vain do they worship me,
    teaching human precepts as doctrines.โ€™

You abandon the commandment of Yahuah and hold to human tradition.โ€

Then he said to them, โ€œYou have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of Yahuah in order to keep your tradition!

The knowledge is available, but too many times we choose willful ignorance…

Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your Elohim, I also will forget your children.

Here’s some explicit, biblical examples of how to tell if a culture or tradition has been established or influenced by demons…

1. IT CONTRADICTS THE WORD OF YAHUAH…

This one was stated above, but let me give you a perfect example that someone is sure to deflect, justify or explain because the feel compelled to continue the tradition. Yahusha the Messiah, and the Book of James clearly tells us to never swear an oath and goes on to say that when we do IT IS FROM THE DEVIL…, but from court, to public office, to public servants to the military, the tradition has been established to make the first act of office or service A SIN by swearing an oath. It’s even written in the United States constitution to ‘swear or affirm’. But, the Yahusha said…

Matthew 5:34-37

34 But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is Yahuah’s throne; 35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.

One way the devil gets demonic traditions to survive for thousands of years is to convince people they are depriving their children of something. For example, Yahuah made it clear that we should not only avoid to worship pagan idols, but to refrain from allowing their names to come from out lips…

Joshua 23: 7

and lest you go among these nations, these who remain among you. You shall not MAKE MENTION OF THE NAME of their idols, nor cause anyone to swear by them; you shall not serve them nor bow down to them,

The devil has convinced well-meaning ‘Christians’ to blaspheme every time they mention a day meant to celebrate the resurrection of Yahusha HaMashiach by calling it by the name of a pagan goddess. This tradition is so established that not only do many ‘Christians’ not know why it’s called Easter, but they feel compelled to defend it once the find out that it and it’s traditions are pagan. Celebrate without calling it Easter and ‘hunting eggs’.

2. IT’S BASED ON PRIDE

Yahuah hates pride and explicitly forbids it. However, from family, to nation, to race, to organizations, people proclaim that pride is a part of the culture and tradition.

Proverbs 16:18

1Pride goes before destruction,
And a haughty spirit before [a]a fall.

James 4:6

But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:

โ€œYahuah resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.โ€

Anytime we feel compelled to use the word pride, thankful is always more appropriate

3. WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO BECOME A PART OF IT OR PARTICIPATE

There are so many cultures and organizations that either force people to sin to become a part of them, or to sin to participate in them. One thing that I couldn’t ignore when I was living on campus when going to college is the sinful behavior in which pledges (of all races) had to participate to become a part of a fraternity or sorority. And, once a member some frats very reputation was of sinful promiscuity and overindulgence in alcohol (watch some people push back on this one)…

It’s amazing that despite how easy Yahuah makes it to become a part of His organization (The Body of HaMashiach) that we can make it so difficult to become a part of some of ours.

Many toxic corporate and organizational cultures flourish because people are forced to make unethical and ungodly decisions. Many of these cultures pervert what Yahuah calls strength…

4. IT EXPLICITLY HONORS THE DEVIL

Yahuah takes names very seriously. He changed Ja’acov’s name to Yasharel. He changed Abram’s name to Abraham. He changed Sarai’s name to Sarah. He continuously reiterated the fact that He takes His own names very seriously…

Exodus 20:7

โ€œYou shall not take the name of the Yahuah your Elohim in vain, for the Yahuah will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

So this being said, why would anyone want to name a sports team with a name that has anything to do with the devil or devils? You literally has to shout cheers for the devil to support the team! WHY ARENโ€™T CHRISTIANS CONCERNED WITH TEAMS WITH A DEVIL AS THE MASCOTโ€ฆ

This short list is by no means exhaustive, but hopefully it provokes thought and conversation about what it truly important to Yahuah.

WHY YAHUAH IS ANTI-GAY, BUT NOT ANTI-GAY PEOPLE…

Because Yahuah loves gay people. Yah loves everyone.

Don’t get it twisted. This is not just a self-righteous, judgmental platitudeโ€ฆitโ€™s biblical truth.

Why is Yahuah anti-gay?

Because Yahuah is anti-adultery, but not anti-adulterer.

Heโ€™s anti-fornication, but not anti-fornicator.

Heโ€™s anti-murder, but not anti-murderer

Heโ€™s anti-malice, but not anti-malicious.

Heโ€™s anti-hate, but not anti-hater.

Heโ€™s anti-lie, but not anti-liar.

Heโ€™s anti-foolishness, but not anti-fool.

Heโ€™s anti-pride, but not anti-proud person.

Heโ€™s anti-greed, but not anti-greedy person.

I think you get the picture. Yahuah is anti-sin, but He is not anti-sinner. Even though there are those trying to now establish that homosexuality is not a sin. It still is. Even though many people are trying to say that thatโ€™s not what Sodom and Gomorrah was about. It still was (Genesis 19). Even though many people are trying to say that Jesus never addressed homosexuality, He still did (Matthew 19:4-6) And even though people are refuting what Paul said about it, itโ€™s still truth (Romans 1:24-27).

But, itโ€™s also true that there are multiple other sins that are equally as wrong as homosexuality (Romans 1:28-32, 2:1-3).

Calling out homosexuality, as well as any other sins, is not hateโ€ฆitโ€™s our responsibility (Ezekiel 33:1-11, Romans 6:23). But, we must always rememberโ€ฆ

To do so in love (1 Corinthians 16:14).

To remember that we are all sinners saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8).

We are all born with innate desires that we must overcome with the help of Yahuah’s Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) (Psalm 51:5).

So no matter what your sin may be, Yahuah still loves you!

Yahuah is anti-sin, but He is never anti-you!

1 Peter 3:9 (NKJV)

9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

WHY SOMEONE IS FANTASIZING ABOUT YOU (YES YOU)…

20161130_124430.jpg

You are the object of someone’s fantasy. Someone’s watching you, and they want what you have. Yes, they want your body…

Your cancer-free body…

Your disease-free body…

Your two working legs and arms…

They want your ability to walk and run.

They want your ability to go to work every day.

They want your strength. Not you super strength, but your strength to take care of yourself.

They want ‘What you’ve got!’ Not the opportunity to fulfill their lust, but the opportunity to fulfill their life.

They want your freedom.

They want a family like yours.

They want to be just like you.

They want a roof over their heads…Food to eat…Clothes to wear.

They fantasize about going to the grocery store and filling a shopping cart rather than carrying everything they own in one.

They fantasize about buying a pair of shoes…About going where they want, when they want, in a car.

They fantasize about going to the doctor for check-ups and not treatments.

Someone would trade their good credit for your health…their riches for your peace. They’re watching you.

Please don’t allow our prosperous society to spoil you to the point of covetousness and being ungrateful.

Don’t allow the โ€˜blessings of abundanceโ€™ to become โ€˜burdensโ€™ to make you feel Yahuah is mistreating you if you don’t have everything you want. If you donโ€™ have perfect health. If you donโ€™t have ideal circumstances.

The bible teaches us to be content with food and clothes…

1 Timothy 6:8

And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

Yahuah teaches us to not worry about our needs…

Matthew 6:31-34 (NKJV)

31 โ€œTherefore do not worry, saying, โ€˜What shall we eat?โ€™ or โ€˜What shall we drink?โ€™ or โ€˜What shall we wear?โ€™ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of Yahuah and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

And, He teaches us to be thankful in all things.

1 Thessalonians 5:18  (NKJV)

18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of Yahuah in Yahusha HaMashiach for you.

Don’t get your wants confused with your needs. And remember, there is always someone ‘less fortunate’ than you…fantasizing to have what you may be taking for granted.

REASONS YAHUAH HATES COMPLAINING…

The rich young ruler in the books of Matthew 19 and Mark 10 told Yahusha HaMashiach that he kept all of the commandments from his youth up, but the Lord quickly reminded him that he was lacking something.

Thatโ€™s true for all of us. No matter how much we may try to live upright, we will always remain lacking in some area.

You may not be a fornicator, an adulterer, a drunk, a murdererโ€ฆyou may go to church every time the doors open. You may be very generous in your giving โ€ฆ

BUT DO YOU COMPLAIN?

Yahuah HATES complaining. He doesn’t hate complainers, but He does hate it when we complain. One of Yasharel greatest, most consistent sins while in the wilderness was that of complaining and murmuring. In fact, it was their complaining that made an 11-day trip last 40 years.

Yahuah hates complaining so much he allowed His own children to suffer death to serve as an example of the level of judgment that complaining deservesโ€ฆ

1 Corinthians 10:10

10 nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer.

But, donโ€™t we have a right to complain sometimes? Especially when some things are beyond our control? Why does Yah hate complaining so much?

HERE ARE SOME REASONS WHY YAHUAH HATES COMPLAINING SO MUCH…

COMPLAINING IS THE OPPOSITE OF THANKSGIVING

It doesnโ€™t get more clear than thisโ€ฆ

1 Thessalonians 5:18

18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of Yahuah in Yahusha HaMashiach.

Plain and simpleโ€ฆYahuah expects us to be thankful and content in all things (Philippians 4:11-13). There is not one situation when one is complaining that they could not instead find a reason to give thanks or praise. In all of the Psalms where the psalmist was questioning Yahuah about troubles did the Psalm not end with praise and thanks giving. (Psalm 6, Psalm 13, Psalm 35, Psalm 94 are just a few). There is a difference in a humble lamentation and an arrogant complaint.

COMPLAINING POISONS YOUR ATTITUDE

If weโ€™re honest with ourselves, complaining never makes us feel better. To the contrary if weโ€™re angry it makes us more angry. If weโ€™re frustrated it makes us more frustrated, if weโ€™re discontent it makes us more discontent. Whatever our negative attitude, complaining just makes it more negative. Most of the time we even wear it on our expressions. We look angry and unsatisfied. It takes us from beyond a bad mood to a bad attitude. When we have a bad attitude long enough, it becomes our characterโ€ฆmore on that in a moment.

COMPLAINING INFECTS THE ATTITUDES OF OTHERS

How many times have you felt perfectly fine and content about something or someone until someone complained? Complaining is contagious. When we share our negative discontent it can have the same negative affect on someone else’s attitude as well, especially if they are spiritually or emotionally weak.

When we spread discontent, animosity or just a negative attitude we become a stumbling block, and we must always remember that is something that the Yahuah hates tooโ€ฆ

Matthew 18:6

โ€œWhoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

COMPLAINING IMPLIES WE DONโ€™T TRUST YAH

This is huge! Yahuah had led Yasharel and promised them โ€˜a land flowing with mild and honeyโ€™. However, when things got tough, they continually complained and lamented that they wished they had never left Egypt.

Exodus 14:12

12 Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, โ€˜Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptiansโ€™? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.โ€

Exodus 16:3

And the children of Israel said to them, โ€œOh, that we had died by the hand of Yahuah in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.โ€

Complaining in difficult circumstances said to Yahuah then, and still does today, that we donโ€™t trust Him. Remember that through everything that Job went through did he never BLAME Yah of charge Him foolishly (Job 1:22).

Even if our circumstances are beyond our control, we must remember that Yahuah is sovereign to do what He pleases with His creation for however it suits His divine purpose, and we must trust Him in that.

YAHUAH TAKES IT PERSONAL WHEN WE COMPLAIN AGAINST HIS ANOINTED

Itโ€™s Yah’s prerogative to choose whom He pleases to lead His people. Even though these leaders are mere men and women, He still expects us to submit to them. Notice Yah’s level of anger when the people murmured against Moses and Aaronโ€ฆ

COMPLAINING SHIFTS RESPONSIBILITY FROM OURSELVES

When Iโ€™m honest with myself. Much of what I complain about is the consequences of my own mistakes and actions. Yes, there are things that happen beyond our control. Misfortunes, storms, sicknesses etc. But, many times we will find ourselves complaining about relationships, jobs, purchases, situations and circumstances that either we prayed for or Yahuah gave us to benefit us.

As early as in the garden of Eden, rather than accept his responsibility for choosing to eat the fruit himself, Adam blamed his wifeโ€ฆ

Genesis 3:12

12 Then the man said, โ€œThe woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.

COMPLAINING LEAVES A BAD TESTIMONY

As I mentioned earlier, when we express our dissatisfaction through complaining, and a negative mood and attitude, it can become our character. This is very importantโ€ฆ

Yahuah expects us to set the standard of how to handle difficult circumstances.

When we react with negativity we have allowed that to become our testimony in that situation. When we allow our complaints to become go beyond moods to attitudes, we can allow that to become or come across as our character, especially in the limited context of other peopleโ€™s exposure to us, or what they hear about us. Our character or perceived character can become our testimony.

Once we have mishandled a negative situation, our reputation may never recover. We don’t want that to become our testimony.

So, what to you do when you have a legitimate โ€˜complaintโ€™?

Remember this. Itโ€™s not necessarily the fact that you disagree that makes it a complaint. Itโ€™s the fact that you disagree negatively. That you express your discontent or lament in a spirit of HUMILITY AND POSITIVITY.

Thereโ€™s a difference in negative discontent and positive discontent.

Pray to Yahuah for the wisdom to handle your negative circumstances with grace and in a positive manner, and donโ€™t get caught up in the sometimes overlooked sin of complaining.

(1) ONE THING THAT CONSERVATIVES & THE LBGTQ MOVEMENT HAVE IN COMMON…

We have all sinned and come short of the glory of Yahuah (God), but that does not mean we are not to hold one another accountable. The fact is that the Word of Yahuah demands that we do so…

Ephesians 5:11

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather [a]expose them.

Proverbs 27:17

17 Iron sharpens iron,
So one man sharpens another.

Galatians 6:1-2

6 Brethren, even if [a]anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. Bear one anotherโ€™s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Yahusha the Messiah.

This responsibility doesn’t stop when it comes to holding leaders accountable as well, both spiritual…

1 Timothy 5:19-20

19 Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses. 20 Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.

And political…

2 Samuel 12:1-13

12 Then the Yahuah sent Nathan to David. And he came to him, and said to him: โ€œThere were two men in one city, one rich and the other poor. The rich man had exceedingly many flocks and herds. But the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb which he had bought and nourished; and it grew up together with him and with his children. It ate of his own food and drank from his own cup and lay in his bosom; and it was like a daughter to him. And a traveler came to the rich man, who refused to take from his own flock and from his own herd to prepare one for the wayfaring man who had come to him; but he took the poor manโ€™s lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him.โ€

So Davidโ€™s anger was greatly aroused against the man, and he said to Nathan, โ€œAs the Yahuah lives, the man who has done this [a]shall surely die! And he shall restore fourfold for the lamb, because he did this thing and because he had no pity.โ€

Then Nathan said to David, โ€œYou are the man! Thus says the Elohim of Israel: โ€˜I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. I gave you your masterโ€™s house and your masterโ€™s wives into your keeping, and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if that had been too little, I also would have given you much more! Why have you despised the commandment of the Yahuah, to do evil in His sight? You have killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword; you have taken his wife to be your wife, and have killed him with the sword of the people of Ammon. 10 Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.โ€™ 11 Thus says the Lord: โ€˜Behold, I will raise up adversity against you from your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun. 12 For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, before the sun.โ€™ โ€ 13 So David said to Nathan, โ€œI have sinned against the Yahuah.โ€ And Nathan said to David, โ€œYahuah also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

David repented because the Prophet Nathan held him accountable.

Yahusha repeatedly rebuked the Pharisees for their sins and hypocrisy. Was that judging them?

However, these days, when sin is called out people get defensive and accuse the person or persons holding them accountable of judging.

Calling out sin is not judging. It’s our responsibility. Yahusha the Messiah, told us that we are capable of righteous judgment…

John 7:23-24

24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.โ€

He also asserted that we can tell what’s in a person’s heart by their fruit…their character…their consistent behavior…and the influence that their character yields…

Matthew 7:15-20

15 โ€œBeware of false prophets, who come to you in sheepโ€™s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

I’m saying all that to say this…I have noticed a common reaction from both ‘conservatives’/’evangelicals’ and those in the LBGTQ movement when…

When someone calls out President Trump’s pride (an equal sin to shedding innocent blood per Provers 6:16-17), daily hurling of insults, speaking profanities at rallies while Christians cheer, boasting about his own accomplishments (Proverbs 27;2), and his admitted unrepentant, unforgiving attitude. He admitted publicly that he does not ask Yahuah for forgiveness, but tries to do better and doesn’t bring our Elohim into it — however when any of this is pointed out many conservatives who claim to be Christians are quick to respond…

YOU HATE THE PRESIDENT AND YOU ARE JUDGING HIM.

This is the exact same response that when the same conservatives who claim to be Christians call out the sin of those who practice homosexuality and support marriage between the same sex, when this sin is called out many in the LBGTQ are quick to respond…

YOU HATE LGBTQ PEOPLE AND YOU ARE JUDGING THEM.

Both groups have the same response, which comes from the same spirit of resistance to the truth — accusations of hate and judgment.

The apostle Paul wrote a very stern letter calling out the sins of the saints in the Corinthian church. He also called out a very public sin in 1 Corinthians Chapter 5, as well as those who condoned it. The church didn’t accuse Paul of ‘judging’ them, but repented and worked hard to rectify the matter…

2 Corinthians 7:8-13 (NIV)

Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it. Though I did regret itโ€”I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little whileโ€” yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as Yahuah intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. 10  Sorrow towards Yahuah brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 11 See what this sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter. 12 So even though I wrote to you, it was neither on account of the one who did the wrong nor on account of the injured party, but rather that before Yahuah you could see for yourselves how devoted to us you are. 13 By all this we are encouraged.

Calling out sin is not casting stones, hate, judgment or condemnation. It is trying to help one another avoid condemnation.

Yahuah demands that we hate the SIN but not the SINNER, because we are all sinners who are only saved by the grace of our Elohim.

We must pray that leaders, conservatives, liberals, evangelicals, and atheists submit to Yahuah’s word, will, love, truth and salvation.

BE BLESSTIFIED!

Notice the ๐ŸŽ’s to ๐ŸŽ ‘s Comparisons to the Fallacy in ‘Once Saved Always Saved’

Many people who believe in ‘Once Saved Always Saved’ doctrine reason that if something in the bible doesn’t threaten your ‘salvation’ that it doesn’t matter.

๐ŸŽ’s to ๐ŸŽ’s: For example, if someone believes that using profanity won’t send them to ‘Hell’, even though Yahuah forbids vulgarity…not only do they not feel convicted to stop, they will deflect by saying ‘I’ve got grace’. So knowing that it hurts The Most High, they continue to do it.

๐ŸŽ’s to ๐ŸŽ’s: Or…that it doesn’t matter if you call The Savior Jesus, when His true Name is Yahusha…because He knows your heart.

Those are๐ŸŽ’s to ๐ŸŽ’s comparisons to if a husband has a wife that was cheating on him and not only does he FORGIVE her, but he ASSURES her that no matter what she does, he will never divorce her…does he want her to continue cheating because her relationship is secure…or quit because she loves him?

๐ŸŽ ‘s to ๐ŸŽ ‘s: Or, if the man she was cheating with had the same initials as the husband and he gave the wife a necklace with those initials…and she asked to keep it, but the initials on the necklace now symbolize the husband’s name instead of her former lover…do you think the husband would go for that? Of course not….

That’s how OSAS treats salvation.

Notice that Yahusha says, “Those who endure to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:13)…

Notice that every epistle in the New Testament is addressed to BELIEVERS not UNBELIEVERS, but has stipulations for BELIEVERS that practice ‘the works of the flesh’ shall not enter the Kingdom…

Galatians 1:2 “To the Messianic community at Galatia” (What some call ‘the church’)….

Galatians 5:19-21 โ€œAnd it is perfectly evident what the old nature does. It expresses itself in sexual immorality, impurity and indecency; involvement with the occult and with drugs; in feuding, fighting, becoming jealous and getting angry; in selfish ambition, factionalism, intrigue and envy; in drunkenness, orgies and things like these. I warn you now as I have warned you before: those who do such things will have no share in the Kingdom of Elohim!โ€
โ€ญโ€ญ

Notice that ‘The Prodigal Son’ never lost ACCESS to his father’s ‘salvation’, as he always welcomed his return to the fellowship he once had secured, but left it. Yet, if he died while in that foreign land, he would have died ‘outside his father’s fellowship’ while never actually losing access to his gift of ‘salvation’. It was always available….

Notice that if an umbrella is your ‘salvation’, you will still get wet if you don’t ‘open it’ while having it in your possession and never losing access to it. That’s why BELIEVERS are told to work out their salvation with fear and trembling.(Philippians 2:12)….

Go back and study 2 Peter 2:20-22, Hebrews 2:1-3, Hebrews 6:4-6, or Hebrews 10:26-29. Please study these in context of each entire chapter.

Once Saved Always Saved is absolutely NOT anywhere in the bible, but excuses abusing the grace of Yahuah.

WHY AREN’T ‘CHRISTIANS’ CONCERNED WITH TEAMS WITH A DEVIL AS THE MASCOT…

If there’s one consistency between both the Old and New Testaments, it’s the fact that names matter to Yahuah. From Yah changing Abram’s name to Abraham to Yahusha changing Simon’s name to Peter (Cephas).

In an age when so many ‘believers’ are politicizing sins that society considers BIG, while excusing those they consider small, the bible is clear that Yahuah takes how we identify ourselves very seriously…

Not many who claim to be believers are quick to name their children, Satan or Lucifer.

Why?

Because those names are used to identify the enemy, the accuser of the saints…the devil.

That’s why I don’t understand that while people who say they love Yah are so passionately ‘campaign’ against the so-called BIG sins, why they never speak up against teams, many of which they allow their children to be a part of, that identify themselves with a devil.

They wear sports paraphernalia, fly flags, display bumper ‘stickers’ and worst of all cheer for, root for, in a sense ‘praise’…and glorify THE DEVILS!

Right now someone reading this knows in their heart it’s not right, but they are naturally inclined to do what ‘Christians’ do when they want to continue doing something…look for reasons to justify it.

Do you think Yahuah is cool with you allowing your child to be identified as a ‘devil’?

Do you think Yah is okay with allowing a school, AAU team, or professional team to be identified as the DEVILS? The RED DEVILS? The BLUE DEVILS? etc.

Names denote authority, character…who you are, or what it is. Think about the fact that Yahuah changed Ya’akov’s (Jacob’s) name to Yasharel (Israel).

Think about the fact that most ‘Christians’ are content with calling a day chosen to commemorate Yahusha’s death, burial, and resurrection by a pagan goddess’s name (Easter), which is the same as (Eostre, Ishtar, Ashtoreth) one of the very names He forbid us to make mention of, one of the very names that Israel and Judah invoked (said) and provoked Yahuah to anger.

Joshua 23:7

and lest you go[a] among these nations, these who remain among you. You shall not make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause anyone to swear by them; you shall not serve them nor bow down to them,

Names matter, so we should stop trivializing what is important to Him.

Yes, You Can Believe in The Messiah Without Identifying as ‘Christian’.

This will be short and to the point, and I encourage you to research it for yourself.

Don’t let people tag you with the label of their choice…

I love Yahuah our Elohim (who people call god) through His Son and our eternal High Priest Yahusha HaMashiach/Messiah (who people call Jesus).

Those who believe in Yahusha were first called Christians at Antioch (Acts 11:26).

This was meant to be a derogatory insult of a sect of which they did not approve.

Those who called them ‘Christians’ DID NOT believe in or accept Yahusha as the Messiah. This is easily confirmed through simple research. And, it’s clear today many people claim the label Christian who in no way resemble The Messiah. Christianity is fragmented into countless identities and extremes.

The 1st Century believers never called themselves or identified by the term Christian. They identified by ‘The Way’. (Acts 9:2, 19:9, 24:14).

Think of how Yahusha referred to Himself. (John 14:6)

The term ‘Christian’ back then was an insulting label that is an apples-to-apples comparison to ‘The N-Word’ today.

When we identify with a label, we identify with the positive and negative aspects of that label. And, when that label evolves (and they all do) you become and accept the identity as it changes.

The ideologies of the labels Democrat and Republican shifted during the 20th Century. And, the label ‘Christian’ is being shifted today to conflate it with political identity.

Remember, the Pharisees and Sadducees began as political sects.

I don’t accept any labels because they put you ‘in a box’.

Christian…

Black…

White…

Baptist…

Catholic…

Conservative…

Liberal…

Protestant…

Hebrew Israelites…

Evangelicals…

People ask me, what do you call yourself if you aren’t a ‘Christian’? They want a label.

I say, “I’m a part of The Way, a disciple of Yahusha the Messiah. I’m a ‘Qodeshim’, the Hebrew term that means ‘set-apart ones’ that has been translated to holy or saint. Any time you see the word holy in scripture, it was originally written quodesh (set-apart).

Don’t let people tag you with the label of their choice.

.

FOR THE TIMES YOU FEEL YOU JUST CAN’T HELP YOURSELF (RESTRAINT)…i

No matter how bad you have to use the bathroom…

How strong the urge to relieve yourself…

If you’re in a crowd of people outside, in a meeting, at a ball game, or in church YOU WON’T stop and use it right then and there.

Why?

Because you have RESTRAINT.

No matter HOW strong the urge, how painful, you would rather hold it in rather than disgrace and embarrass yourself.

Too many times those of us who claim to love Yahuah use the excuse, โ€œI just couldnโ€™t help myself!”

Too many people who call themselves ‘Christians’ are perfectly content using profanityโ€ฆretaliatingโ€ฆand giving in to their flesh, and quickly use the excuse, โ€œI just couldnโ€™t hold it inโ€!

Peter is well known for his lack of restraint. On the Mount of Transfiguration he quickly blurted out, “Let us build three tabernacles, one for Yahusha , Moshe and Eliyahu!(Mattityahu 17:4).

After Yahusa was arrested, when accused of knowing Him, Peter cursed (Mattityahu 26:74, Mark 14:71). But, Yahusha knew of Peter’s spontaneity, and had already prayed for him and told him that when he is converted to strengthen his brothers (Luke 22:32). One of the things Peter was going to have to do was learn RESTRAINT.

One of the fruit of the Spirit is TEMPERANCE or SELF-CONTROL (Galatians  5:22).

Itโ€™s true we canโ€™t do anything without the help of Yahuah, but he has given us the power to restrain our flesh as well.

You donโ€™t have to use profanity (cuss).

You donโ€™t have to get even.

You donโ€™t have to let everybody know EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL.

Just the same as you can HOLD BACK when you have to use the bathroom (flesh), you can hold back when that person of the opposite sex is trying to tempt you.

Letโ€™s be just like our heavenly Father. Because when you think about it, thatโ€™s what MERCY isโ€ฆYahuah holding back the wrath and judgment we deserve.

HOW REPENTANCE IS YAHUAH’S “UNDO” BUTTON…

How many times have you typed something on a device and decided that wasn’t what you wanted to say?

How many times have you done something on a device and decided it wasn’t an action that you wanted to do?

Did you throw away your device?

No.

You clicked UNDO.

Clicking UNDO allows you to totally wipe out what you didn’t want without affecting anything else you’re working on.

When you’ve typed or done something wrong, it allows you the opportunity to ‘change directions’ and do it right.

When you confess your sins to Yah, and commit to change directions, you’ve clicked Yahuah’s UNDO button.

When you repent, Yah wipes out what you’ve said, done or thought.

When you repent, Yah doesn’t hold what you said, did, or thought against you anymore…

When you repent, Yah allows you to continue with your life as if you’ve never did what you did…

When you repent, Yah allows you to start over and do it the right way…

As long as you don’t RETYPE the SAME thing again.

2 Corinthians 7:9-10

Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing. 10 For  sorrow towards Elohim produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.

John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

WHY YAHUAH HATES ‘BIGG BUTTS’…

What do people say when confronted with doing what Yahuah expects of them or has called them to do?

Why donโ€™t you worship?

Letโ€™s go feed the homeless.

Letโ€™s go visit and minister people in prison and hospitalsโ€ฆ

Why donโ€™t you give the firstfruits of all your increase to Yah?

Usually before we make an excuse, we usually give a big BUTโ€ฆ

โ€œI would, BUT I worship Him my own wayโ€ฆโ€

โ€œI would, BUT those homeless people will just spend it on drugs, cigarettes and alcoholโ€ฆโ€

โ€œI would, BUT I canโ€™t afford toโ€ฆโ€

โ€œI would, BUT I donโ€™t have time to visitโ€ฆโ€

โ€œI would, BUT my kids have sportsโ€ฆโ€

Yahusha, gave us a parable to illustrate how much He hates our excuses. He let us know how much He hates our BIG BUTSโ€ฆ

Luke 14:18-24 (NKJV)

18 BUT they all with one accord began to make excuses. The first said to him, โ€˜I have bought a piece of ground, and I must go and see it. I ask you to have me excused.โ€™ 19 And another said, โ€˜I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to test them. I ask you to have me excused.โ€™ 20 Still another said, โ€˜I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.โ€™ 21 So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, โ€˜Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and the [a]maimed and the lame and the blind.โ€™ 22 And the servant said, โ€˜Master, it is done as you commanded, and still there is room.โ€™ 23 Then the master said to the servant, โ€˜Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I say to you that none of those men who were invited shall taste my supper.โ€™ โ€

Notice that each of these excuses addressed the same excuses we give today.

BUSINESS. WORK. CAREER

โ€œI bought a piece of groundโ€ฆโ€

โ€œI bought a yoke of oxenโ€ฆโ€

SPOUSE. CHILDREN. FAMILY

โ€œI have married a wifeโ€ฆ

These excuses made the master of the house (Yahusha) angry. So, He invited the very people who those who were initially invited were called to serve instead.

He then said those who makes excuses and rejected His invitation will not โ€˜taste His supperโ€™ (will not enter His Kingdom).

Yahuah hates our excuses! However, the enemy loves our BIG BUTS! He loves our excuses.

Donโ€™t let your BIG BUT keep you out of the Kingdom of Yah!

WHY IT’S OKAY TO ADMIT THAT WE DON’T KNOW WHY YAHUAH DOES EVERYTHING HE DOES…

Anyone who believes in Yahuah has been asked these questions.

Most if not all believers, if they are willing to admit it to themselves, have asked some of these questions.

Not only are there some difficult things to understand in the Bible, but there are things our Elohim does today that are difficult to explain.

Why does Yah allow babies and children to suffer with terminal illnesses?

Why does the bible not explicitly forbid slavery?

Why does Yah allow abusive parents to have children, while others who would be loving, nurturing parents to go childless?

Why does Yahuah allow some people to be healed but other people, some we would even call ‘goodโ€™ people, to not be healed?

Luke 4:27

2And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian.โ€

There are countless questions that atheists and some believers ask concerning Elohim, either arrogantly or anxiously waiting for answers.

Yahuah gave us the example through the Psalms that He will allow us to question Him in humility, as long as we continue to trust Him…

Psalm 13:1-2 (NKJV)

How long, O Yahuah? Will You forget me forever?
How long will You hide Your face from me?
How long shall I take counsel in my soul,
Having sorrow in my heart daily?
How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

Consider and hear me, O Yahuah my Elohim;
Enlighten my eyes,
Lest I sleep the sleep of death;
Lest my enemy say,
โ€œI have prevailed against himโ€;
Lest those who trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

But I have trusted in Your mercy;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Yahuah,
Because He has dealt bountifully with me.

If you’re like me, sometimes you feel pressured to give a quick and definite answer to ‘defend’ our Elohim. Sometimes you want a definite answer to satisfy yourself.

But the truth is that some things we simply don’t know.

That means sometimes the best answer is…

I DON’T KNOW!

Even those who depend on science to shape their beliefs have to admit that with all of our advances in science and medicine, there is still more that’s unknown than is known.

Scientists still have to sometimes say…

I DON’T KNOW!

Doctors have to sometimes admit…

I DON’T KNOW!

There are times that after a deadly diagnoses that the illness sometimes disappears and the physician has to admit…

I DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!

So, no one should really scoff when a believer says they simply don’t know.

The fact is, there is great peace in admitting that even though you don’t know…you still trust Yahuah. He has told us that there are things that will be beyond are human minds, and even science helps prove that. There is much in science well beyond the reach of scientific knowledge.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NKJV)

โ€œFor My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,โ€ says the Yahuah.
โ€œFor as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Don’t deny yourself the blessing and peace of simply saying…”I DON’T KNOW!”

Psalm 131:1 (NKJV)

Yahuah, my heart is not [a]haughty,
Nor my eyes [b]lofty.
Neither do I [c]concern myself with great matters,
Nor with things too [d]profound for me.

Admitting that you don’t know doesn’t confirm Yahuah isn’t Elohim, it just confirms that we are human.

IS YAHUAH IN AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU?

Relationships are complicated and difficult, even good ones. But as we all know some relationships can slip into the category of โ€˜abusiveโ€™. And, abusive doesnโ€™t always mean physical abuse.

When someone takes advantage of someone elseโ€™s love and mistreats them verbally or emotionally, that’s abusive.

When someone loves you enough to allow you to hurt them over and over again while always willing to forgive and move forward as if nothing happened, that’s abusive.

Micah 7:19

19 He will again have compassion on us,
And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all [a]our sins
Into the depths of the sea.

Isaiah 43:25-26

25 โ€œI, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake;
And I will not remember your sins.
26 Put Me in remembrance;
Let us contend together;
State your case, that you may be [a]acquitted.

Thatโ€™s how powerful Yahuah’s loves is for us.

How many times have we abused Him verbally by taking His name in vain, or simply not giving it proper reverence and respect?

Every time we call Him the titles ‘God’ or ‘Lord’ which replaced His sacred Hebrew Name, Yahuah over 6,000 times, we break the 3rd Commandment. Yet people refer to The Adversary, Satan, in Hebrew.

How many times have we taken advantage of His love by promising we wouldnโ€™t do something again, only to do it againโ€ฆnumerous times?

Psalm 103:10-14 (NKJV)

10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father pities his children,
So Yahuah pities those who fear Him.
14 For He [a]knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust.

How many times have we hurt Him emotionally buy putting others and things before Him?

How many times have we provoked Him to jealously?

Psalm 78:58 (NKJV)

58 For they provoked Him to anger with their high places,
And moved Him to jealousy with their carved images.

How many times has He witnessed us committing spiritual adultery right in front of Him only to stand with His arms wide open welcoming us back into His love?

Notice how sometimes in the bible, Yahuah sounded almost like a hurt lover before He got angry at Israelโ€™s sinโ€ฆ

Judges 2 (NKJV)

2 Then the Angel of the Yahuah came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said: โ€œI led you up from Egypt and brought you to the land of which I swore to your fathers; and I said, โ€˜I will never break My covenant with you. 2 And you shall make no [a]covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars.โ€™ But you have not obeyed My voice. Why have you done this?

How many times have we put Him to open shame before His enemy and our adversary, choosing the devil over Him in our decisions.

How many times has the enemy had the same conversation with Yahuah about us that he had concerning Job? Have we always maintained Yah’s character through our trials?

Job 1:9-11 (NKJV)

9 So Satan answered Yahuah and said, โ€œDoes Job fear Yahuah for nothing? 10 Have You not [a]made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11 But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse[b] You to Your face!โ€

How many times have we physically abused Yahuah?

Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV)

5 But He was wounded[a] for our transgressions,
He was [b]bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes[c] we are healed.

Hebrews 6:4-6 (NKJV)

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 [a]if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Have you crucified Yahusha the Messiah again today?

The fact is that if this were a marriage (and our relationship with Him actually is) many of us would have ended it a long time ago.

2 Corinthians 11:2 (NKJV)

2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Ha Mashiach (The Messiah).

Isaiah 54:5 (NKJV)

5 For your Maker is your husband,
The Yahuah Sabaoth is His name;
And your Redeemer is the Kodesh One of Yasharel;
He is called the Elohim of the whole earth.

Yahuah loves us with a relentless love. He allows us to hurt Him over and over again. Quite frankly, thatโ€™s abuse.

Never take for granted Yah’s grace, mercy and faithfulness to us. He endures our โ€˜abuseโ€™ every day and allows gives us brand new mercies every morning.

Lamentations 3:22-23 (NKJV)

22 Through the Yahuah’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.

The first thing we tell people in abusive relationships is to GET OUT! Aren’t you glad that Yahuah hasn’t gotten out of His relationship with you?
